Three issues that I have relentlessly been pursuing since last many years have been ‘women empowerment’, addressing grievances of old age homes, and providing better amenities and lifestyle to the ‘girl child’.

The ladies wing in ChiragDilli was formed by me, and in the last many years of its existence, we have organised many programs for the welfare and well being of women.The Ramakrishna MahilaMandal that came into being in 1989, founded by me, has played a pivotal role in imparting skill development training in fields such as sewing, stitching, embroidery, bead work, sequins work, jute work, knitting etc. As a result of this, most of the unemployed ladies have been able to earn their livelihood on a Kalkaji Mandir Parisar Sheron Ke Peechche Pt. Kishan Chand Ki Pracheen Dharamshala Kalkaji Mandir New Delhi-110019 regular basis for last many years.
I have been conducting regular counselling sessions for the benefit of women and children. Be it addressing the issue of invasion of builder mafia, rampant encroachment, or deficient water and the power supply, or the potholed roads, not only my colony people, but people from neighbouring colonies too have been approaching me as they repose a great deal of faith on my competence and zeal to turn things around.
